The Max Size that Can be Held by the DJI Mavic Air 2 Controller

The size of the DJI Mavic Air 2 controller is 149.95x103.48x65.47mm (length x width x height) when fitted with a joystick, and its maximum width can hold a mobile device with a width of 85.4mm or devices with 7-inch screen size. (length x width x height: 180mmx86mmx10mm).

Therefore, if your electronic device is larger than 180x86x10mm or larger than 7 inches, it will not work tablet properly and limited with smartphones. Of course, you can buy an extra controller tablet holder or iPad mount.
